Yoni claims he has lost $70,000 worth of roofing deals in just one month, all because he drives a Cybertruck.
Customers Are Canceling Over His Cybertruck
The shocking revelation came when Yoni posted in the Cybertruck Owners Only Facebook group, looking for advice.
“I have a dilemma. I have started to lose customers because I drive a Cybertruck. I have also received some bad reviews in the past, and I am not sure what to do. I love this truck, and it’s the best truck I have ever had. But last month, we lost around $70k in deals, and the customers said that it was because we drove a Cybertruck. Any suggestions? I’m in Atlanta.”
A screenshot he shared revealed a negative review on his company’s page, where a customer warned others:
“I’m just going to say, if a roofing company has a Cybertruck, maybe reconsider using them as your roofer.”
To make matters worse, the review included a picture of Yoni’s Cybertruck, complete with his Blue Angel Roofing logo plastered on the side.
Why the Backlash?
Just a year ago, the Cybertruck was seen as a marketing goldmine. Businesses rushed to buy them, eager to slap their logos on what was then a bold, eye-catching vehicle.

Even Zack from the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel, who initially bought the truck as an advertising tool, has announced he is selling all his Tesla products before the year ends.

- The owner of a golden Cybertruck says his family faces constant hostility. The harassment has gotten so bad that his wife refuses to drive the truck at all.

You need to report every false and off topic review from your Google business page. It will be gone in less than 48 hours if this person has not done business with you or if the review is off topic. Sadly I think you posted this complain for attention and not because you “lost $70K”. You posted the same comment to the Cybertruck groups and we told you what to do and you didn’t listen. You went to the press for social interaction. If you’re losing business it is not because of a few fake reviews – it’s because your reviews are Mid to begin with….
